Friday Night Funkin’ B-Side Remixes is a mode that replaces all weeks with remixes of their music. - "Beth," Kiss (1976) B-side to: "Detroit Rock City" The other members of Kiss didn't want "Beth" on 'Destroyer' and initially buried it on the flip side of the album's third single in the summer of 1976.
- "Black Water," Doobie Brothers (1974) B-side to: "Another Park, Another Sunday" This song was a forgotten also-ran when a disc jockey in Roanoke, Va., began playing it in tribute to the nearby Blackwater River.
- "Gloria," Them (1964) B-side to: "Baby, Please Don't Go" This garage-rock staple was one of the first songs Van Morrison recorded with Them after signing their first recording contract.
- "Good Riddance," Green Day (1996) B-side to: "Brain Stew" Later re-titled "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)," this song became an unlikely prom staple for a band known for punky pop, not acoustic nostalgia.
- 'I Am The Walrus' (1967) The Beatles. History has shown that the Beatles' – really, Paul McCartney and George Martin's – decision to make "Hello Goodbye" the A-side to "I Am the Walrus" earned them another No. 1 song.
- 'Silver Springs' (1977) Fleetwood Mac. Stevie Nicks submitted "Silver Springs" – a song focusing on her faltering relationship with Lindsey Buckingham – for the Rumours album, only to see it relegated to the B-side of the "Go Your Own Way" single.
- 'Hey Hey What Can I Do' (1970) Led Zeppelin. Just why "Hey Hey What Can I Do"' which originally found a home on the flip side of "Immigrant Song," stands as the only non-album B-side ever released by Led Zeppelin remains something of a mystery.
- 'Shut Out the Light' (1984) Bruce Springsteen. As with the Police's single before it, this Bruce Springsteen B-side serves to amplify the craftsmanship – and even the message – of its more familiar A-side.
