Made for the CBC and directed by future NFB Director Jacques Bensimon, the documentary looks at the business of rock in the early 1970s, visiting record labels, recording studios, radio stations, pressing plants, record stores (Sam the Record Man!) and concert venues to examine how rock and pop had more or less been industrialized into a business.
