Wealthy playboy Dan Arland (Gordon Oliver), who has been serving in the Merchant Marines, prepares for his long-awaited shore leave by flippantly contacting one of two young women, Lucy Banning (Amelita Ward) and Carol Dean (Virginia Mayo), who both think they're engaged to him.
