Synopsis. In the desert near Tonopah, Nevada, Howard Hughes (Jason Robarts) rides his motorcycle and crashes. At night, Melvin Dummar (Paul Le Mat), a magnesium plant worker, stops by the side of the highway to urinate. There, he sees Howard huddled and shivering on the ground.
