An essential place to visit on a trip to Riga, this museum provided so much information on the 50 years of Soviet (& briefly, Nazi) occupation between 1940-1991. It may not be much fun as there are so many disturbing facts and poignant artifacts and photos, but it conveys the long and brutal history incredibly well.
