The Cincinnati Observatory, known locally as Mt. Lookout Observatory, is located in Cincinnati, Ohio (United States) on top of Mount Lookout. It consists of two observatory buildings housing an 11-inch (28 cm) and 16 inch (41 cm) aperture refracting telescope.
Our museum space is open Noon - 3pm. Tours run on the hour at Noon, 1pm, and 2pm. All tours start at the main building. Daytime history tours are held Tuesday and Thursday at Noon, 1pm, and 2pm. The guided portion of the tour lasts approximately half an hour. It includes both of the Observatory’s buildings and two main telescopes, as well as access to our out-of-this-world gift shop.
