The middle section precedes a glorious big band echoing the sung verse melody, reminiscent of a Sinatra arrangement and leading back into the last verse, sung well by John Mitchell.

Both Phil and Bernie are still in the band to this day, their first recording as part of the fold being Live in Moscow, celebrating Heep as the first western rock band to be invited to play in Russia. This was followed by a studio album called Raging Silence which was the start of the Box/Lanzon writing partnership.
Long known as the keyboardist for Uriah Heep (since 1986), Phil Lanzon possesses a range of artistic endeavors that includes music, painting and writing, and he enjoys a solo career as well as his work with the band. Lanzon will release a new album, titled 48 Seconds, on July 15 (2019).
