X is an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles. The original members are vocalist Exene Cervenka, vocalist-bassist John Doe, guitarist Billy Zoom and drummer D. J. Bonebrake. The band released seven studio albums from 1980 to 1993.
Exene Cervenka was born on 1 February 1956 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. She is an actress and composer, known for The Kids Are All Right (2010), Kalifornia (1993) and G.I. Jane (1997). She has been married to Jason Edge since 18 August 2002.
