Bill Gibson is a founding member of the pop rock band Huey Lewis and the News, along with Huey Lewis, Johnny Colla, Sean Hopper, and Mario Cipollina. He started playing drums at age 14 and was influenced by jazz and rock drummers such as Buddy Rich and Billy Cobham.
