Jerry Riggs is an American rock guitarist and vocalist. Biography. Riggs began his musical career as lead guitarist for the Knoxville, Tennessee group Lynx, a bar band in the mid-1970s. The band, featuring Michael Byassee on vocals, soon relocated to Atlanta.

Since 2019, the band's lineup has consisted of Don Barnes, keyboardist/vocalist Bobby Capps, drummer Gary Moffatt, Dunaway, and guitarist Jerry Riggs. This leaves Don Barnes as the only original member, although Barnes was absent from the band from 1987 until 1992.
Riggs and fellow guitarist Jeremy Graf began playing in bands in that city before moving to Atlanta in 1978. They joined a band called Raggedy Ann, which morphed into an aggregation known as Riggs after a lead singer left and Jerry assumed lead vocal duties along with lead guitar.
