Susaye Greene (born September 13, 1948) is an American singer and songwriter. She was the last official member to join the Motown girl group The Supremes, remaining in the group during its final year of existence from 1976 to 1977.
Susaye Greene joined The Supremes in 1976, (replacing Cindy Birdsong), and performed on their last two albums, "High Energy" and "Mary, Scherrie & Susaye." Singing alongside original member Mary Wilson and Scherrie Payne, Susaye quickly found her niche in the group and among the group's fans.
Scherrie Payne and Susaye Greene, Formerly of the Supremes, are genuine former members of The legendary Motown recording trio. The third singer in this trio is Joyce Vincent. This group can be traced to the group of yesterday, the history, the songs, and most importantly the talent is there!
