Andy Sheppard (born 20 January 1957) is a British jazz saxophonist and composer. He has been awarded several prizes at the British Jazz Awards, and has worked with some notable figures in contemporary jazz, including Gil Evans, Carla Bley, George Russell and Steve Swallow.
The Andy Sheppard Quartet plays at the ECM label night at the Jazzahead fair in Bremen on April 25, and follows with concerts, club gigs and festival appearances in Hungary, Belgium, Germany, France and the United Kingdom. For more information about upcoming concerts click here.
