Roman Lee Hruska (/ ˈ r ʌ s k ə /) (August 16, 1904 – April 25, 1999) was an American attorney and politician who served as a Republican U.S. senator from the state of Nebraska. Hruska was known as one of the most vocal conservatives in the Senate during the 1960s and 1970s.
