Khalid bin Salman Al Saud (Arabic: خالد بن سلمان آل سعود Khālid bin Salmān Āl Suʿūd; born 1988) is a Saudi Arabian diplomat, and politician who serves as the Saudi Arabian minister of defense. He was appointed defense minister on 27 September 2022.
His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was appointed Vice Minister of Defense in February 2019 by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Prior to this, Prince Khalid served as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States of America from April 2017 until February 2019.
