Rajnath Singh (born 10 July 1951) is an Indian politician and lecturer who serving as the 25th Defence Minister of India since 2019. He was also the Deputy Leader of the House, Lok Sabha from 2019 to 2024. He was the 8th President of Bharatiya Janata Party from 2005 to 2009 and again from 2013 to 2014.
