Early life and education. Schiff was born on June 22, 1960 in Framingham, Massachusetts, the son of Edward and Sherrill Ann (née Glovsky) Schiff. [5] He was raised in a Jewish family that fled the Holocaust. [6] Schiff moved with his parents to Scottsdale, Arizona, in 1970 and Alamo, California, in 1972. [7]

He graduated from Monte Vista High School and received a political science degree from Stanford University and a law degree from Harvard Law School. After Harvard Law School, Schiff began working as a prosecutor in the Los Angeles branch of the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Born in Massachusetts in 1960, Schiff settled in Alamo, California, with his father, a Democratic clothing salesman, and his mother, a Republican real estate agent. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Stanford University and a law degree from Harvard.
Adam grew up in the Bay Area, where he graduated from Danville’s Monte Vista High School before attending Stanford University and Harvard Law School. He worked summers in his dad’s lumber yard, and as a seasonal firefighter to help pay for school.
