Santa Maria del Quartiere and Santa Croce have cupolas covered with frescoes, obviously inspired by Correggio's frescoes in San Giovanni Evangelista and in the Cathedral. The quality is, of course, inferior. Santa Croce is a mixture of a very well preserved romanesque structure with Renaissance elements. It's the oldest church of the itinerary.
