Born and raised in Bothell, Washington, Murray graduated from Washington State University with a degree in physical education. She worked as a pre-school teacher and, later, as a parenting teacher at Shoreline Community College.
May 8, 2024 · In 1972 she received a bachelor’s degree in physical education, and that year she also married Rob Murray; the couple later had two children. She subsequently taught a course in parenting skills at a community college.
