Armand Fallières (born Nov. 6, 1841, Mézin, Fr.—died June 22, 1931, Loupillon, near Mézin) was a French statesman and the eighth president of the French Third Republic. He began his public career as town councillor at Nérac (1871), and in 1876 that constituency sent him to the Chamber of Deputies.
