It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved owner @scottpoiley . He was the most caring person who had a deep love for all. Mr. Scott was the definition of a true artist and exuded creativity through every word, gesture, and phrase.
Scott Poiley began his career as a dancer and actor in movies and national commercials. His tap mentor was Gregory Hines and he has graced the stage with Ben Vereen, Steve Condos, Jimmy Slide, Savion Glover and the world-renowned Duke Ellington Band, to name a few.
The Skyra Foundation, created by Scott & Mary Poiley, is committed to broadening performing arts awareness while advocating education and high standards of excellence in the arts.
