English: Sol C. Siegel (30 March 1903 in New York City, New York, USA – 29 December 1982 in Los Angeles, California) was an American reporter and producer with Jewish origins. In 1934 he began his Hollywood career by assisting with the merger of four production studios into Republic Pictures.
Siegel was nominated for best picture for "A Letter to three Wives" and received two golden Globes. Under the banner of his own production company, Sol C. Siegel Productions, Mr. Siegel produced such box-office favorites as "High Society" (Crosby, Sinatra & Grace Kelly), "Les Girls", "Home From the Hill" and "Some Came Running."
