The Washington State Capitol (or "Legislative Building") in Olympia is the home of the government of the State of Washington. It contains the chambers of the Washington State Legislature, offices for the governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, and state treasurer.

Inside the Capitol Building visitors will see legislative offices, beautiful and stately architecture, imagery of George Washington, including a golden Washington seal, a Tiffany chandelier, and exquisite paintings. Make sure you bring a camera!
Free, guided public tours of the Washington State Legislative Building (Capitol Building) are available daily and are open to everyone. Tours begin at the Tour Information Desk, which is located on the second floor of the Legislative Building, just inside the main entrance doors.
