   Aug 2018 • Friends. Glen Island is a large park on Long Island Sound where you can picnic with family or friends. The grassy field area has some shady areas to protect you from the sun. You can play ball on the field or play games. There is also a nice beach area with lifeguards on duty.

   Glen Island Park is a wonderful place to sit, read a book, go for a stroll, jog, picnic or people watch. It's relatively quiet and staffed by Westchester County employees.
