The park is owned and operated by Westchester County and shares the island with a privately operated but county-owned entertainment facility, the Glen Island Harbour Club (formerly the Glen Island Casino).

  6. Glen Island Park is a wonderful place to sit, read a book, go for a stroll, jog, picnic or people watch. It's relatively quiet and staffed by Westchester County employees. It's clean and welcoming. Unfortunately their admission fee and County Resident Card come at a cost especially to Seniors on fixed income. Read more.
