Dwight Baldwin (September 29, 1798 – January 3, 1886) was an American Christian missionary and medical doctor on Maui, one of the Hawaiian Islands, during the Kingdom of Hawaii. He was patriarch of a family that founded some of the largest businesses in the islands.

In 1836, missionaries Dwight and Charlotte Baldwin came to Lāhainā to join the Waine‘e “station” of the American foreign mission to the Sandwich Isles (What Captain Cook “named” Hawai‘i when he rediscovered the island chain).
A physician and minister named Dwight Baldwin, and his wife Charlotte, were two of those missionaries who came from Connecticut. In 1835, they moved into a house in Lahaina, constructed of stone, coral and timber.

The Baldwin Home was the oldesst standing house on Maui prior to the fire of 2023. It was built by Reverend Ephraim Spaulding between 1834-35 and became a historic fixture when occupied by Reverend Dwight Baldwin in 1836.
