We know almost nothing about Simon the Zealot.

Apr 18, 2024 · In three of the four gospel accounts, Simon the Zealot is listed as one of the chosen 12 disciples of Jesus Christ ( Matthew 10:4; Mark 3:18; Luke 6:15 ). As a disciple, Simon would become one of Jesus’ closest friends and followers. Like the others, he would have been present for nearly all of Jesus’s teachings and most of Christ’s miracles.
