The Matador is a Mexican restaurant chain based in Seattle. Owners Nate Opper and Zak Melang started the business in 2004. As of February 2016, there were locations in Seattle, Portland (Oregon), Boise and Meridian, Idaho, and Denver. The restaurant also operated in Redmond and Tacoma, as of 2020.
Apr 3, 2024 · Greenville’s West End will see a new Mexican food restaurant and bar in the coming months. The Matador will be located in the former Husk location at 722 S. Main St. Founder Zak Melang said the restaurant will offer a diverse selection of tequilas and mezcals along with Mexican-inspired cuisine.
