Bogislaw X, Duke of Pomerania, was the son of Erik II, duke of Pomerania-Wolgast, and his wife Sophie of Pomerania. He was born at Słupsk (Stolp) on 3 July 1454 [1] . He married Margareta von Brandenburg in 1477 (20 September?) at Prenzlau [1]. They had one child, Barnim, who died young [2] .

Eldest son of Duke Wartislaw IV and Elisabeth of Lindow-Ruppin, Bogislaw had two brothers, Barnim IV and Wartislaw V. The brothers were joint rulers from their father's death in 1326.
