Oakwood Collegiate Institute. / 43.678621; -79.436420. Oakwood Collegiate Institute (commonly known as OCI or Oakwood) is a public high school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located near the neighbourhoods of Regal Heights, Oakwood-Vaughan and Bracondale Hill .
Oakwood Collegiate Institute (GR. 09-12) Tempus Litteris Demus (Take Time to Learn) Since 1908, Oakwood CI has provided a strong, welcoming, and caring community for each of its students.
In September 1912, Oakwood became the first Toronto high school to offer “Manual Training” and “Household Science” courses. On February 21 st, 1913, the school celebrated its official opening, and the following year we were renamed “Oakwood Collegiate Institute”. Ms. Jesse Greenaway, a classics teacher, fondly recalled:
