Emily Kapnek. At the age of 25, Emily created her first show for Nickelodeon. A native New Yorker, she moved to Los Angeles in 1997 when “As Told by Ginger,” was picked up for series. The show ran for three seasons and garnered three primetime Emmy® nominations.
