Mr. Beaumont is a WRITER. I have everything ever published by John LeCarre and have read and re-read them all many times. Charles Beaumont's first published novel does not suffer by comparison. I am thrilled to have found someone whose storytelling can make me think, and talk to myself. as the characters do patently STUPID things.
