Review by Patrick Delmore ★★★★★ An all time classic, finger in the eye to Disney’s ‘Fantasia’. The M.C. for ‘Bugs Bunny at the Symphony’ gave us no background ‘A Corny Concerto’ but it didn’t matter, I got to listen to the Seattle Symphony perform ‘Tales from the Vienna Woods’ and ‘Blue Danube’.

As comprehensive and specific a parody of Fantasia as could be jammed into eight minutes (with a quick potshot at Flowers and Trees ), this is a bold and shocking zig-zag for the Clampett unit, which had been refining its skills towards speed, gleefully messy cartoon movement, rude humor, and a general sense of mental anarchy.
Dec 6, 2018 · A Corny Concerto Review. A Corny Concerto is a 1943 animated short film from the Merry Melodies series. It is a pretty good, but admittedly disappointing short. This is Warner Bros. response to Disney’s ‘Fantasia’, being literally the parody of it both in style and in execution.
