Season 1 is the first and only season of Love Island Denmark, hosted by actress; Lisbeth Ostergaard and premiering October 21st,2018 on Danish television channel; TV3.
The first season of Love Island's Danish show, was confirmed to be in production by ITV Studios and TV3 on September 26th,2018, that would be premiering on the channel in October of the same year. Alongside this announcement, the first teaser for the show was revealed. On October 3rd, it was confirmed that Danish television and radio presenter; Lisbeth Oestergaard would be the host for the first season of the show.
After this it was confirmed that the first season would be premiering on October 25th,2018. The season came to a close on December 3rd,2018 with the winners being declared as Julie Melsen & Oliver Erngart, with Ida Sojborg and Jonas Korgsgaard being announced as the runners-up.
The initial line-up of islanders were first teased by the official Instagram page on October 15th,2018 10 days prior to the launch of the show. The cast were then revealed in full on October 17th,2018, featuring 5 boys and 6 girls in the line-up. Further islanders entered the villa later in the season as bombshells.
For six weeks, we follow life in the luxury villa Los Dolores, where 11 singles party, date, quarrel and flirt in the pursuit of love. And not only that, the viewers also influence the singles' search for a partner. Love Island is almost live, and via the Love Island app, viewers will have the opportunity to help their favorite couple stay in the villa. In the end, it is also up to the viewers ...
