The crux of this falls to a school romance that goes horribly awry, leading two characters on different paths in life that eventually entwine together thanks to fate. It’s a pretty simple set-up and Our Beloved Summer doesn’t shy away from that.
Feb 24, 2022 · 5. Our characters’ growth feels so natural. In fact, their growth feels so organic, that I mostly didn’t notice it happening, so much, until I compared later versions of our characters, with their earlier selves. That’s when the growth became most apparent to me. That’s good writing.
The best thing about Our Beloved Summer that catches the eye is the cast. The charms of Kim Dami and Choi Woo Shik, who radiate youthful energy, fill up the screen, and the chemistry between the two naturally leads the story. The drama emphasizes the images of summer and thanks to this, the play's overall atmosphere is full of freshness.
