Julia is an American comedy drama television series created by Daniel Goldfarb that premiered on HBO Max on March 31, 2022. It is based on the life of Julia Child in 1960s Cambridge, Massachusetts, during the production of her television cooking show The French Chef.

Dec 26, 2023 · Julia has been canceled by HBO Max before the third season could be renewed, joining other hit comedies like Our Flag Means Death which was also canceled. The strong ensemble cast, including Sarah Lancashire as Julia Child, was expected to return for season 3.
