Based on the characters from the web series Annoying Orange, created by Boedigheimer and Spencer Grove, it was produced by Annoying Orange, Inc., The Collective, and 14th Hour Productions. A preview aired on May 28, 2012, and the official premiere was on June 11, 2012.
