First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas is the oldest, largest continually operating outdoor flea market in the United States. In September of 2023, First Monday celebrated its 150th Anniversary!
This epic event takes place each month on the 4 days preceding the first Monday of the month. Spread across over 450 acres, the event is home to makers, pickers, creators, and thrifters who come together to sell items ranging from antiques, fashion, home furnishings, and more.
For more than 150 years, shoppers from across Northeast Texas and beyond have been coming to the Original First Monday Trade Days in Canton. In the early days, they travelled to Canton to trade horses, livestock, dogs, tools and farm equipment, and to sell homemade items and produce.
