Cat Leo is a 2014 Italian/Russian English-language animated TV series. Directed by Mondo TV founder Orlando Corradi, the show is based on the original Soviet animated shorts starring Leopold the Cat. The storylines are written by creator Anatoly Reznikov: this marks his last work till his death in January 2018.
Mondo TV announced the production of the show on May 24, 2012. It was first unveiled at the World Content Market event in Moscow, in 2014. Animation was outsourced to Studio SEK (referred to as Mondo TV Studios in the end credits).
