Laramie ( / ˈlærəmi /) is a city in and the county seat of Albany County, Wyoming, United States, known for its high elevation at 7,200 feet (2,200 m), railroad history, and as the higher-education center for the state of Wyoming. The population was 31,407 at the 2020 census, making it the 4th most populous city in Wyoming. [5]
Laramie is a TV series that ran from 1959 to 1963 and followed the adventures of two brothers, Slim and Andy Sherman, who ran a ranch in Wyoming Territory. The show also featured Robert Fuller as a loner, Hoagy Carmichael as a commentator, and other characters and episodes.
