Hercules: The Legendary Journeys is an American fantasy television series filmed in New Zealand, based on the tales of the classical Greek culture hero Heracles (Hercules was his Roman analogue). Starring Kevin Sorbo as Hercules and Michael Hurst as Iolaus, it was produced from January 16, 1995

Darphus, revived by Ares, is pillaging everything in sight to feed a monster called Graegus. Hercules and a redeemed Xena are determined to stop him. Iolaus joins Hercules but has trouble believing she is really reformed.
