Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Columbus Ohio Temple Steeple Takes Flight. The steeple for the Columbus Ohio Temple was lifted by crane today and installed atop the roof of the building. It had previously stood on a staging pad in front of the temple for several months where it was assembled, sheathed, and clad in stone.
