- Darren Barnet As Paxton Hall-Yoshida. Darren Barnet plays Paxton Hall-Yoshida, the high school heartthrob and Devi's primary love interest. Initially, Devi believes him to be little more than a pretty face with a cool reputation, but she learns more about him as they have a tutoring arrangement before dating.
