Superior Donuts is an American sitcom television series based on the play of the same name by Tracy Letts that aired on CBS from February 2, 2017, to May 14, 2018. It was produced by Daily Productions, Goldman-Donovan Productions and Teitelbaum Artists, in association with CBS Television Studios.
With Jermaine Fowler, David Koechner, Maz Jobrani, Katey Sagal. Sympathetic old-school doughnut-shop owner Arthur, his spunky young employee and aspiring artist Franco, and their friends and patrons keep the shop going in a changing culturally-mixed inner-city Chicago neighborhood.
Superior Donuts is a comedy about the owner of a small donut shop that’s located in a quickly gentrifying Chicago neighborhood. Arthur is a gruff, to-the-point Chicagoan who refuses to sell newfangled cronuts and macchiatos or renovate his dated shop that hasn't changed since it opened in 1969.
