Feb 24, 2015 · ESPN Films today announced a new primetime special, It’s Not Crazy, It’s Sports, directed by Academy Award-winning director Errol Morris ( The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara, Thin Blue Line, The Unknown Known) which will air Sunday, March 1 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The project was born out of Morris’ 2012 ‘It’s Not Crazy, It’s Sports’ ad campaign for ESPN which looked at a group of fans who took their team devotion to a unique length—beyond the grave. The six part series explores the inspiring, dramatic and unexpected in sports fandom.
