Created by Gary David Goldberg and Bill Lawrence, the show is set in a fictionalized version of the New York City mayor's office, and originally starred Michael J. Fox as Mike Flaherty, the Deputy Mayor of New York.

Oct 24, 2000 · When an old friend of Charlie’s pursues Caitlin, Charlie does everything he can to keep them apart. Carter tries to help Paul win the attentions of a pretty new City Hall worker. Charlie’s old gambling habit is revived by a friendly poker game; Caitlin tutors the Mayor in self-sufficiency.
