This is a list of episodes for the television series Kojak. The first five seasons (Pilot + 118 ep.) were aired on CBS from 1973 until 1978. CBS also commissioned a pair of TV movies in 1985 and 1987. ABC revived Kojak in 1989 for five additional TV movies, the last of which aired in 1990.
The fifth and final season gets off to a good start with this episode. During a card game at the station, one of the detectives, Tony Bufino (uncredited actor) is sent out for beer. While he is at the corner store, a robbery takes place with the elderly owner shot dead.

Kojak's operative, an undercover lawyer, is killed investigating endless opportunities for graft provided by an elaborate makeover for an inner city neighborhood. The hoods make the murder appear to be an auto accident, delighting those who'll benefit from the bottomless pork barrel.
