Ultraviolet: Code 044 is a Japanese anime television series loosely based on the 2006 science fiction film ''Ultraviolet'', written and directed by Kurt Wimmer, and broadcast from July to September 2008. The show was produced by the anime studio Madhouse and was directed by Osamu Dezaki.
