In this legal drama, Andy Griffith plays Ben Matlock, a criminal-defense lawyer based in Atlanta. Matlock typically identifies and confronts the perpetrator in a dramatic courtroom scene. His goal, most often, is to prove reasonable doubt of his client's guilt.
S6.E1 ∙ The Witness Killings. While attending a reunion in his home town, Matlock gets embroiled in a murder case in which a young man is framed for the murder of another home-town boy who was writing a tell all tome about some of the town's prominent citizens.
