The original series of Gladiators hit our television screens in 1992 and was broadcast on ITV until 2000. It lasted for eight thrilling series (plus many specials) and is the longest and most successful version of the Gladiators show in the world. The fourth series of Gladiators aired in the UK from 16 September to 23 December 1995. The prizes in this series were the £14,000 prize money once again, but the grand champions also received a holiday on Paradise Island in The Bahamas as well as a four-wheel drive off-the-road family vehicle for each of them.
