    Guest Starring

    1. Marc Price as Skippy Handelman 2. Randy Lowell as Bobby Cahill 3. Ann Nelson as Mrs. Crenshaw

One of the customers at Adler's is a very familiar character actor, William G. Schilling.
From the episode title, one might expect Mr. Adler to die, he doesn't.  Strangely, Jack Somack did pass away less than a year after the episode aired.
The title could possibly be a play on "Death of a Salesman".
Though made almost ten years later, an episode of The Wonder Years ("The Hardware Store") bears a great resemblance to this one.
