"Hard Bargain" is the sixteenth episode of the seventh season of Blue Bloods.
Linda's brother, Jimmy, asks Danny for help after he claims to have gotten in trouble with a woman's boyfriend. Reluctantly Danny agrees to let him stay for a while.
Only finding out later that Jimmy is actually in trouble with the mob, making Danny upset that Jimmy would endanger their family like that. Despite that, he attempts to help Jimmy out of the mess he has made.
Meanwhile, after an Officer mistakenly arrests a pop star, Osvaldo, the star's lawyer demands the Officer's disciplinary records be made public. Frank must find a way to settle the situation without releasing the records that are supposed to be confined to the NYPD.
Nicky manages a ride-along with Jamie and Eddie, during which she gets overly involved when they encounter a battered wife who won't admit the abuse. She even goes so far as to return by herself and try to convince the woman to file charges.
